It’s official, we’re 4 months in and feeling something like backpacking pros now! . It’s funny how at first everything seems quite overwhelming, a lot to book, getting lost, approaching random people to ask for advice each day, packing & unpacking all that you carry 3/4 times a week. . Though a few months and you quickly adapt, it becomes your new routine. It’s a great feeling, it really makes you feel like you can take on anything! . To celebrate 4 months in, we’ve spent time thinking about our favourite moments since our 2 months mark. . If you could only choose one, which would you pick!? . 1 - Freediving alongside a pod of Dolphins in the deep blue Pacific Ocean in Costa Rica . 2 - Setting foot on the 2nd largest ice glacier in the world at 170 meters deep in Argentina . 3 - Watching geysers explode whilst the sun rises in the worlds highest geyser field in Chile . 4 - Travelling to a 120,000 strong Penguin colony, in Isla Magdalena the furthest point of South America before Antartica . 5 - Spending 4 days camping, surrounded by incredible mountains, lakes, glaciers and eagles on the Patagonia W trek . 6 - Waking up every morning to the sound of squawking scarlet macaws flying above us in Costa Rica . 7 - Ice climbing all the way to the top of South America’s most active volcano in Chile . 8 - Seeing the Milky Way galaxy along with the red glow of lava from a volcano whilst stargazing in Pucón . 9 - Standing at the bottom of a 200ft high, lush green waterfall in Chile . 10 - Discovering unearthed dinosaur bones and a multimillion year old petrified forest in El Calafate . #livetoinspire #inspirationalplaces #worldexplorer #nowdiscovering #peoplewhoadventure #backpackerslife #backpackingadventures #picoftheday #weliketotravel #digitalnomads #couplesthattravel #coupletravel #travelcouple #sustainability #travelustcouples #creativetravelcouples #couplegoals #travelcouplegoals #backpackingsouthamerica #travellingcouple #theglobewanderer #desert #desertedroad #atacama #deserttrekking #relationshipgoals #lgbttravellers #savetheplanet #chile #lgbtcouples

From spending just evenings together, to 24hrs, 7 days a week, we can say whole heartedly that travelling is teaching us much more about one another. . We’re learning about how each other works and what drives us every day. . More about our thinking patterns and how we both process thoughts on a daily basis. . How we react when put in challenging situations and what triggers us to react in the first place. . Because of this, we can help one another to change and adapt as people. We realise and appreciate new strengths in each other and know when we need support. . It’s a great feeling, one of comfort and reassurance about why we both decided to take on this journey together. . CAT🎗———- . De només compartir els vespres a estar junts 24 hores els 7 dies de la setmana. Podem dir amb la mà al cor que viatjar ens està ensenyant molt més l’un de l’altre. . Sabem més com pensem i com processem idees i pensaments. . Hem après a entendre com reaccionem devant de situacions complexes i què ens fa reaccionar en primer lloc. . Gràcies a això, ens podem ajudar l’un a l’altre a canviar i adaptar-nos. Ens n’adonem i apreciem les noves fortaleses de cadascú i també sabem quan necessitem soport. . What’s your favourite part of our incredible planet? 🌍 . Travelling has allowed us to understand just how amazing and insane our planet is. Before, we had an appreciation, though through exploring, it’s become a whole different feeling. . From lava filled volcanoes to ice planet glaziers & never ending deserts to the deepest blue oceans... at points we’ve struggled to get our heads round what we were seeing. . We can’t believe next week it will be 4 months since we set off on our world adventure! . We’ll also be leaving South America and making our way to a new continent, landing in New Zealand. (Any tips would be great). . One thing we feel very thankful for is experiencing all that we are with each other. Things like this trip are a relationship test, similar to moving in together or getting a mortgage. . Of course you have to be sure, though you don’t really know until you go for it! . We went for it with this trip and we couldn’t be happier. Each day we’re exploring a different corner of the earth and the best part... doing it hand in hand. . CAT 🎗———- . No ens podem creure que la setmana vinent farà 4 mesos des-de que ens vam embarcar en la nostra aventura mundial. . Deixarem també Sud Amèrica per continuar cap a Nova Zelanda (si teniu cap consell, feu-nos-el arribar!). . Si hi ha res del que ens sentim afortunats és de compartir aquesta aventura junts. Aquest viatge és una mena d’exàmen de parella, similar a començar a viure plegats o la primera hipoteca. . Challenge yourself to something completely different, it will give you a new perspective! 💪🏽 . We set challenges and goals for ourselves everyday in life, though how often are they completely different from the norm? . New Years resolutions, working out, dieting, making more money, they can all be important to us, though how much do these challenges truly change our perspective? . Sometimes it’s the more achievable, short burst challenges, completely different to what we’d usually experience that can make the biggest difference to our mindset. . Setting foot on the 18,000 year old Perito Moreno glacier was unlike anything else we’ve experienced. Spending a day trekking on this ice planet we knew would be a challenge, it was unfamiliar territory for us. . Once we’d completed the trek, we couldn’t quite believe what we’d done. Walking on completely different ground, being surrounded by fields and fields of ice, stepping over crevasses 70 meters deep. . It gave us a brand new perspective and appreciation for our planet. . What could be your short burst challenge this year? One that changes your perspective for good? . CAT🎗———- . Desafiar-se a un mateix és quelcom totalment diferent, et dona una altra perspectiva! 💪🏽 . Ens posem objectius i metes a diari, però són realment diferents a la resta? . Propòsits d’any nou, anar al gimnàs, fer dieta, estalviar més diners... tots són importants... però quins d’aquests desafiaments canviaran la nostra perspectiva? . De vegades són aquells desafiaments de curta durada però d’alta intensitat els que poden canviar totalment la nostra forma de pensar. . Caminant sobre gel de 18.000 anys d’antiguitat del glacial Perito Moreno va ser quelcom que mai havíem fet abans. Sabíem que passar tot un dia caminant en aquest món de gel seria un desafiament, era un territori totalment desconegut. . Un cop vam completar-lo, no ens podíem creure el que acabàvem de fer. Caminar en un ambient totalment desconegut envoltats de camps i camps de gel, saltant sobre esquerdes de més de 70 metres d’alçada. . Sens dubte ens va donar una nova perspectiva i apreciació per al nostre planeta. . Quin serà el teu desafiament per aquest any?

Life is about taking chances. . It’s a guarantee that not all of them will work out, though that doesn’t matter. If anything, there can be more to gain from the times it doesn’t work - wisdom. . The saying goes, heinsight is a wonderful thing, and usually this means someone wished they had done something differently.... wished they took a chance. . Should I, what if, I can’t because of... These are all personal barriers we create in our mind, making us hold ourselves back. There will always be a reason not to do something. . Today we had a moment... we looked around, surrounded by this amazing environment and just felt a rush of love for it all . Love for what we are doing and seeing throughout the world . Love that we are able to go on this adventure and experience places we’ve only ever dreamt of or seen on a screen . Happiness is something we create for ourselves, it’s also something we can give . It’s the biggest wealth we can ever have and also the largest gap when it’s missing . It can be found in both the darkest of times and the brightest moments in life . We can create it from the smallest things to the biggest things that happen . Sometimes it’s a thing we and other people can seem hard to find, though the best thing is, we can give it to them and it can be given to us . This means happiness is all around us, waiting to be found no matter how hard things may get for us or others. We just have to create it . And the simplest part... It comes from one place .
